What age group to do you cater for?
We cater to ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age.
What hours do you operate?
We open at 7:30am and close at 5:30pm

What are your fees?
Our fees are currently $140 per day as of July 2024.

What is included in the fees?
Meals, nappies, wipes and sunscreen are all inclusive of the fees.

Do you offer occasional care?
Unfortunately, we are not licensed to offer occasional care.

Do you offer half-day session?
Unfortunately, we no longer offer half-day sessions.
Do you offer casual sessions?
We do offer casual sessions where vacancies permit.

How many rooms do you have?​
​We have two rooms, our Kookaburras aged 0 - 3 years and Wombats aged 3 - 5 years of age.

Can I book in a tour?
You sure can! Submit your enquiry under the "tour" category here and our friendly team will be in touch.

Do I still need to pay for a session if my child is sick?
Families are still charged for sick days. Families can get CCS when their child is absent from a session of care they would normally attend for up to 42 days per child, per financial year. Additional absent days can be obtained if certain criteria are met.
Families can use their absence days for any reason. They don't need to provide medical evidence.

Do I still need to pay for a session if my child is on holiday?
Families are still charged for any holidays they choose to take but these are included in your allowable absences with Centrelink. We do not offer a holiday discount rate.

What is Child Care Subsidy?
Child Care Subsidy is financial assistance to help get the cost of child care.
To get Child Care Subsidy (CCS) you must:

care for a child 13 or younger who’s not attending secondary school, unless an exemption applies

use an approved child care service
-
be responsible for paying the child care fees
-
meet residence and immunisation requirements.

It is recommended that families apply for the Child Care Subsidy with Centrelink at least 12 weeks prior to starting care. Usually it takes up to 6 weeks for centrelink to approve CCS applications without any delays.

When is the centre close?
We are closed all public holidays, on extreme and catastrophic fire danger days in line with our service approval and for 2.5 weeks over christmas to ensure an adequate break and rest period for children, families and educators. Families are charged for any involuntary closure days e.g Public Holidays.

Do you have a funded Kinder program?
​We do not currently have a funded kinder program but hope to operate a funded kinder in the future.​

What food is served to the children?
Our centre promotes healthy eating habits and provides delicious and nutritious food for your child each day. We provide a nutritionally balanced breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and late snack. We follow the Australian Dietary Guidelines to ensure our meals are prepared to meet the dietary requirements for all children. Our menu is carefully planned and prepared by our Cook and Chef who work closely in partnership with our Community Garden volunteers to harvest fresh seasonal produce. Our menu is on a 4 week rotation, and changes seasonally. We cater to all dietary requirements of all children enrolled at our service.
